BIO-CNG (Compressed Biogas)

BIO-CNG (Compressed Biogas) is a renewable and eco-friendly fuel produced from biogas. Biogas is generated by the anaerobic digestion of organic waste such as animal dung, kitchen waste, and agricultural residue. After purification, biogas is upgraded to BIO-CNG by removing carbon dioxide and other impurities. BIO-CNG has similar properties to natural gas and can be used as a clean alternative to fossil fuels in vehicles, households, and industries.

BIO-CNG (Biological Compressed Natural Gas)

BIO-CNG is a clean, renewable fuel produced by purifying biogas. Biogas is generated from organic waste materials like cow dung, agricultural waste, food waste, and sewage through anaerobic digestion (a process carried out in the absence of oxygen). The raw biogas mainly contains methane (CH₄), carbon dioxide (CO₂), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and water vapor. To convert it into BIO-CNG, impurities like CO₂ and H₂S are removed, and the gas is compressed to high pressure, making it suitable for use like commercial CNG.

BIO-CNG has properties similar to CNG derived from natural gas, and it can be used for cooking, in vehicles, and for power generation. It offers a sustainable solution to the energy crisis and helps in reducing environmental pollution. Also, the slurry left behind after biogas production can be used as organic fertilizer, promoting organic farming.
